OUR ESSENTIALS: To rid foods of pesticides, bacteria, parasites, and other contaminants, it is always necessary to wash all fruits and vegetables with purified water or with an herbal rinse before eating them.
Drinking bottled, distilled, or purified water is essential for all individuals. Purchase your water from pure water products store in your area. Municipality water may contain bacteria and fluoride that chronically ill individuals cannot tolerate.
Clean raw fruits and vegetables are healthier; raw meats are not, including fish. The cooking process usually kills the parasites, bacteria, and salmonella.
Hang out with positive people; drop the negative friends. They are stressful to you depleting your body of healthy input.
Deep, deep breathing supplies much needed oxygen to the brain. It is essential to deep, deep breathe for 15 minutes everyday. Exhale; take a deep breath through the nose inhaling as much as possible causing your tummy to protrude. Then open your mouth wide and exhale forcing the air from your diaphragm. Repeat.
OUR IMMUNE SYSTEM: Our immune system is compromised with every bite of junk food we eat. Eating an order of French fries can shut down the immune system for 24 hours. This leaves our immune system defenseless to fight off a virus expose that we may meet during the day.
Know your family history of illness and disease. If you mother had breast cancer, you have an increased risk. Change your diet and take supplements to have a healthy body free from the threat of breast cancer.
Soy and Ginseng help build your immune system. There are many types of soymilk, soy protein to add to foods, tofu, soy energy bars, and the like. Soymilk on your cereal and in your cooking is quite good.
Vitamins A, E, C, and garlic are great anti oxidants which all work together in boosting the immune system.
Be sure your immune system is strong before you de-tox. To begin a de-tox, drink spring water with fresh lemon juice to help your digestive tract start eliminating its toxins. It will not give you the ‘up’ coffee gives you, and you may experience hunger pangs. Your body will adjust to the new diet, and your symptoms will pass. Continue with fresh juices throughout the day; take vitamin C supplements and a de-tox tea product.
A sauna, steamy shower, and exercising will de-tox your skin.
Do not use a microwave oven.
OUR VITAMIN AND MINERAL HEALTH: Taking too much calcium is unwise without the correct levels of magnesium in the body. You need magnesium in order the calcium to be absorbed. Ever notice that most calcium supplements include magnesium.
Some calcium supplements contain up to 20 mcg of lead according to the Natural Resources Defense Council. Calcium pills that have less than 7.5 mcg of lead are safe for consumption; test with Contact Reflex Analysis.
A colloidal (liquid) vitamin and mineral supplement from a plant source will increase your energy and provide you with essential vitamins and minerals that we do not get from the foods we eat. We know that fresh fruits and vegetables lower the risk of various types of cancer and other illnesses.
Vitamin E (d-alpha) is natural Vitamin E and is more readily absorbed than the synthetic Vitamin E (dl-alpha). Vitamin E protects our bodies from free radical damage, thereby, decreasing the risk of clogged arteries
Ester Vitamin C is more readily absorbed and will not cause stomach distress. Regular Vitamin C disappears in the body quickly and Ester C is absorbed quickly. Ester C is the best choice.
B-12 is good for mental health. Taken before, during, and after the menstrual cycle may relieve hormonal headaches. Take more before the onset of a hormonal headache; use CRA testing for monitor testing. Remember, B-12 is measured in mcg.
B-Complex vitamins are an important nutrient in brain functions. B-Complex increases cerebral circulation, synthesizes acetylcholine, and forms a protective sheath around the spinal cord.
Zinc, B-Complex, and L-Lysine help to decrease foot odor. If you have a foot odor problem, have you also had athlete’s foot, or cold sores, canker sores, or mouth blisters? This may be a bigger problem beginning; check with a nutritionist.
OUR ENZYME HEALTH: Enzymes are the catalysts that are responsible for aiding in nutrient absorption. Enzymes also promote tissue regeneration and making energy available to cells. Digestive problems, obesity, and lactose Intolerance are a common indication of an enzyme deficiency.
Coenzyme Q-10 (CoQ10) is a spark plug which helps produce energy in our body. The older we become, the less our body produces. It is a leading enzyme deficient in chronically ill individuals. It also is a leading enzyme for individuals who suffer from fatigue, mental lethargy, and depression. CoQ10 deficiency may influence degenerative illnesses.
Most overweight individuals are lacking necessary nutrients from the foods they eat, which are processed or cooked out of foods. Stop eating at least three hours before bedtime to ensure well-digested food. This will also help in losing weight as well as eliminate high stomach acidity.
OUR HERBAL HEALTH: Not all herbal supplements are equal. Buy quality supplements and have them tested with CRA to be sure of the quality you are buying.
Echinacea is a strong builder of the immune system; however, individuals with a chronic illness should not take large amounts of Echinacea for longer periods. Monitor the amount of Echinacea your body can tolerate by using Contact Reflex Analysis. Individuals who are allergic to the daisy family should not take Echinacea.
Sitting in front of a computer can be damaging your retina. Bilberry or Eyebright before and after using the computer can be beneficial. Turn your focus away from the computer to an object across the room. Test yourself with CRA.
Ginkgo Biloba improves psychomotor performance and cognitive function. It increases circulation to the brain and improves test performance in individuals of all ages.
Licorice Root is a sore throat healer; however, do not take if you have high blood pressure or heart palpitations as it may cause your heart to palpitate faster.
OUR DIET: A juicer is a healthy purchase to be sure you obtain the best nutrition from fruits and vegetables. You will also ingest more and/or the recommended fruits and vegetables when they are in juice form. Not many of us eat five fruits and vegetables a day.
Caffeine in soda and coffee robs the body of essential calcium as well as allowing the pH of our blood become unbalanced. Avoid caffeine at all costs; drink juice or water with lemon added for taste.
Eating low fat foods in one’s has led many people to ingest less good fat, such as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. However, omega-6 fatty acids are found in fried foods and vegetable oils; and we consume too many of these. Omega-3 fatty acids from fish oils can slow cancer growth.
Use Sea Salt rather than table salt for cooking and for flavoring any of your foods.
Low fat foods contain hydrogenated oil, which our bodies cannot digest; this is what encourages hardening of the arteries, not healthy fats. If you have low fat foods in your cupboards, get rid of them. Notice we all eat low fat foods and light foods, and our country is fatter than every before.
Light foods contain Aspartame and NutraSweet that is a neuro-toxin to our body. Avoid light foods and diet pop; even light yogurt contains Aspartame.
Since vegetarians do not eat meats, they need a high protein source from legumes or supplements.
Get the bulk of calories from whole grains and vegetables called complex carbohydrates. Avoid refined or simply carbohydrates including white sugar and white flour products.
Use only olive oil with which to cook and enjoy its rich flavor. It is good as a salad dressing or in salad dressing, it is good for vegetable dishes, and it is good for sautéing, as it is high in mono unsaturated fats.
OUR ENVIRONMENT AND TOXINS: Organic foods from animals mean that the animals were fed only organically grown feed which has not been treated with synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides for at least three years.
"Healthy Tan!" Not! Sun-damaged skin leads to skin cancers, uneven pigmentation, and premature aging. You might not see premature aging at age 20 or 30, but by the time you are age 40, you and everyone else will notice.
The chemicals you use in your home could be causing your nausea and your headaches. Clean your laundry, whites, tile floors, dishes, bathrooms, doorknobs. In addition, just about everything you touch with diluted 3 to 1 water and hydrogen peroxide.
Deodorant contains aluminum sulfates, which may cause tumors near and around the breast tissue in men and women. There is 50 percent more cancer by the underarm than anywhere else in the breast. Use 50/50 baking soda and cornstarch in a container using a powder puff to apply.
Have a headache at work? Check the drinking water, carpeting, poor lighting, asbestos, smoke, copying contaminants, and other toxins.
Living in a cold-weather climate means cars are running longer and putting more CO2 into the air. Breathing CO2 can be hazardous to your health.
The ink in our newspaper may be an allergen. When you read the paper, do you sneeze? During or after you read the paper, do you itch?
Women who take Premarin are ingesting horse urine. Mares in Canada fed an organic diet are impregnated and their urine is received during gestation up to three months when the estrogen levels are highest. PREgnant MARe urINe.
